Web Hosting and Website Cost Calculators
Every calculator here works from figures you enter rather than industry averages, so the answer reflects the quote in front of you instead of somebody else’s benchmark. Pick a topic below to find the right tool.
Estimate reseller hosting profit and margin from your own pricing and costs. See how many clients you need to break even and recover setup costs.
Estimate colocation cost from rack space, power and bandwidth. Enter your quoted rates to see monthly and total cost across a 12 to 60 month term.
Work out what VPS hosting really costs. Enter your promotional rate, renewal price and add-ons to see your total across 12, 36 or 60 months.
Estimate the return your website generates from traffic, conversions, gross margin and monthly costs. See ROI, payback, break-even and net gain in seconds.
How these calculators work
Each one takes the numbers you already have, whether that is a hosting quote, a traffic figure or a client count, and turns them into a total, a breakdown and a decision you can defend.
The methodology is shown on every page. You can see the formula, the assumptions and any planning thresholds being applied, so nothing is hidden behind a result.
Built on real numbers
No calculator here ships with invented sample data. Where a page does quote provider pricing, that figure was read from the provider’s own pricing page and carries the date it was verified.
Cost benchmarks and market figures live in our research library, which is kept separate from the tools so the calculators never go stale.
Where to start
If you are pricing something specific, go straight to that calculator. If you are still choosing between options, start with a comparison instead, since requirements often decide the answer before cost does.

Most tools take under a minute to complete, and none of them store what you enter.
Built for planning, not quoting
Treat every result as a planning estimate. These tools model the figures you provide and cannot account for taxes, negotiated discounts, usage overages or the price changes that providers apply at renewal.
That limitation is stated on each page alongside the result, together with anything the model deliberately excludes, so you always know what a number does and does not cover.
