2. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- Visitors who browse the Site
- People who use calculators or other interactive tools on the Site
- People who request a quote or submit information through an interactive tool
- People who contact us through forms, email or other communications
We currently do not offer customer accounts, billing or hosting services directly through this Site. If that changes, we will update this Privacy Policy as appropriate.
3. Information We Collect
We collect information in two primary ways:
- Information you provide
- Information collected automatically when you use the Site
A. Information You Provide
When you contact us, request information or submit a form, you may provide:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your company name or business information
- Your website address
- The content of your message
- Any other information you choose to include
B. Calculator and Quote Request Information
You may use our calculators without providing your name, email address or phone number. The numerical inputs used to generate a calculator result are not submitted to Web Hosting Services merely because you calculate a result.
We may collect limited analytics events about calculator use, such as:
- The calculator used
- The selected calculation period
- Whether a particular calculator mode or option was selected
- Whether a calculation or quote request was completed
These calculator analytics events are not intended to include the name, email address, phone number or website address entered into a quote request form.
If you request a quote through a calculator, we collect the information you submit. Depending on the calculator and form, this may include:
- Your name
- Your email address and/or phone number
- Your current website address, if provided
- The calculator you used
- The options and time period you selected
- The traffic, conversion, revenue, margin and cost figures you entered
- Results recalculated by our server, such as estimated ROI, gross profit, total investment and net gain
- The page from which the request was submitted
- Submission timing and other limited anti-spam or security information
We may temporarily process an IP address or an identifier derived from an IP address to prevent spam, enforce submission limits and protect the Site. Ordinary server and security logs may also contain an IP address and related request information.
C. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit or interact with the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate location derived from an IP address
- Device type, operating system and browser information
- Pages viewed and links clicked
- Referral URLs
- Time spent on pages and general usage behavior
- Calculator and interaction events
- Access times, errors and security events
- Cookie identifiers and similar technology information
D. Sensitive Personal Information
We do not intentionally request or collect sensitive personal information such as government identification numbers, financial account credentials, precise geolocation, medical information or biometric information.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in a calculator, quote request, contact form or email. If you voluntarily provide sensitive information, we will use it only as reasonably necessary to respond, protect the Services or comply with applicable law.
4. How We Use Information
We may use information for the following purposes:
- To operate, maintain and secure the Site
- To provide calculators and other interactive tools

- To respond to inquiries and contact requests
- To respond to calculator quote requests
- To discuss a potential website, hosting or related project
- To prepare and provide a tailored quote
- To validate and recalculate submitted calculator results
- To maintain records of inquiries and quote requests
- To monitor and improve performance, functionality and user experience
- To measure calculator usage and improve our tools
- To analyze usage trends and understand how visitors use the Site
- To detect and prevent automated submissions, spam, fraud, abuse and unauthorized access
- To investigate technical errors and security incidents
- To comply with legal obligations
- To resolve disputes and enforce our policies
We do not use a calculator result as a guarantee of future revenue, profit or business performance. Calculator results are estimates based on the information entered by the user.
5. Legal Bases for Processing Where Applicable
If laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation or similar rules apply, our legal bases for processing may include:
- Legitimate interests: Operating the Site, providing calculators, responding to inquiries, improving performance, preventing abuse and maintaining security
- Taking steps at your request before entering into a contract: Discussing a project, evaluating a request and preparing a quote
- Consent: Where consent is required, such as for certain cookies or optional communications
- Legal obligations: Complying with applicable laws, regulations, court orders and lawful requests
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent subject to applicable law. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.
6. Cookies, Analytics and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, security, performance and analytics. A cookie is a small file stored on a device that can help a website remember information or understand how the website is used.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic, calculator use and general interaction with the Site. Google Analytics may use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies to collect information such as:
- Pages viewed
- Events completed
- Time spent on the Site
- Device and browser information
- Referring pages
- Approximate location derived from an IP address
Google Analytics may process IP addresses during data collection to derive approximate location and perform service, routing, spam-prevention or security functions. Google states that raw IP addresses are discarded after use and are not logged as ordinary Google Analytics 4 report data.
The information Google collects and how it may be used can depend on our Analytics settings, consent controls and whether Analytics is linked to other Google services.
Google provides a browser add-on that may allow you to limit Google Analytics collection:
Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
Cookie Controls
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. You may also be presented with consent or preference controls where required. Disabling cookies may affect certain Site functions or the accuracy of analytics reporting.
Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. There is no universally accepted standard for responding to these signals. We respond to legally recognized browser-based opt-out signals where required and technically supported.
7. How We Disclose Information
We do not sell personal information for money.
We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
A. Service Providers and Vendors
We may provide information to service providers that help us operate and protect the Site, communicate with visitors or analyze Site usage. These may include:
- Website hosting and infrastructure providers
- Content delivery network and security providers
- WordPress administration, database and backup providers
- Email delivery and business communication providers
- Analytics providers, including Google Analytics
- Technical support, maintenance and development providers
These providers may process information only as reasonably necessary to provide services to us, subject to their agreements, policies and applicable law.
B. Legal, Safety and Compliance
We may disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with a law, regulation, court order or legal process
- Respond to a lawful request from a public authority
- Protect the rights, safety or security of visitors, our business or the public
- Detect, investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents or unlawful activity

C. Business Transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, asset sale or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
D. At Your Direction
We may disclose information when you request or direct us to do so.
E. Aggregated or De-identified Information
We may use or disclose aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, subject to applicable law.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. These purposes may include responding to requests, preparing quotes, maintaining appropriate business records, protecting the Site, meeting legal obligations, resolving disputes and enforcing our policies.
Calculator Use Without a Quote Request
Using a calculator without requesting a quote does not create a calculator lead record containing your numerical calculator inputs.
Limited calculator analytics events may be retained according to the settings and retention periods configured for our analytics systems.
Calculator Quote Requests
When you request a quote through a calculator, the submitted contact information, website information, calculator inputs and server-calculated results may be:
- Stored as a private lead record in our website administration system
- Delivered to our business email so we can respond to the request
We generally retain the private lead record stored on the Site for up to 730 days from submission unless:
- You request deletion and no legal or operational exception permits continued retention
- A shorter period is appropriate because the information is no longer needed
- A longer period is required by law or reasonably necessary for a dispute, investigation, security matter or legal claim
Copies delivered to our business email may be retained under a separate business email retention schedule for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, discuss a project, prepare a quote, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes or comply with legal obligations.
Temporary Security and Technical Records
Temporary anti-spam and rate-limiting records are generally retained only briefly. Server, security, analytics and backup records may follow separate retention schedules based on their purpose and the settings of the systems involved.
At the end of an applicable retention period, we delete, aggregate or de-identify information where reasonably practicable. You may request deletion as described in Section 10.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against accidental loss, unauthorized access, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
These safeguards may include access restrictions, private lead records, input validation, anti-spam controls, rate limiting, security monitoring and restricted administrative permissions.
No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
- Request access to personal information we hold about you
